We are a physiotherapy led sports performance facility. We use an integrated physiotherapy and Strength and conditioning model to rehabilitate our athletes and non-athletes alike. We use the best in evidence-based medicine and science to provide world class services to our clients.

Helen McElroy

Helen is our clinical lead physiotherapist. She achieved a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (Ulster University, 2008), then went on to complete an MSc in Sports Physio (UCD) and a PhD focusing on hip and groin pain in athletes. Helen has worked across multiple sports at club, county, regional and national level. She sits on the UK Physios in Sport Committee as the Northern Ireland representative leading education across the profession. Helen is a Physiotherapy Panel Member of Sport Ireland Institute and is a guest lecturer in the Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Masters programmes at Ulster University. She leads our Hip and ACL programmes.


Colm MacRory

Colm is our senior physiotherapist. He has achieved a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (Ulster University and a MSc in Sport & Exercise Medicine (Ulster University). Colm is a EXOS accredited Performance Specialist and has several years experience in NHS & private practice across both Ireland & Australia giving him a broad range of experience. He has worked with several sporting teams at club & county level and is currently working his way through UK physios in sport accreditation pathway.

Peter Hughes

Peter is a registered physiotherapist and athletic development coach. He has completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine and is currently undertaking a second Masters in Performance coaching. He has recently returned from working with UAE rugby federation whilst also spending time with flying Fijians and Port Adelaide AFL team. He completed an internship with Fresno State University California American Football Department this year. He has a keen interest in all aspects of rehab and performance.

Pete Hughes

Orlagh Casey

Orlagh is a registered physiotherapist. She has achieved a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (Ulster University). She currently works for the NHS and has worked in a variety of rotations such as trauma and orthopaedics and stroke and MSK outpatients. She has experience working with multiple team sports such as GAA, hurling and soccer ranging from club level to senior county level. Orlagh has a keen interest in sport rehabilitation, the incorporation of strength and conditioning with rehab and pilates and she continues to play GAA and participate in horse riding competitively.

Susan McBarron

Susan is a specialist neurological physiotherapist. She has achieved a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (University of Huddersfield). Completed her MSc Modules on Interdisciplinary Stroke Care (Ulster University). She has 15 years of clinical experience, primarily in NHS, focusing on field of Neurological conditions with special interest study in Stroke and Functional Disorder. She completed post graduate study, Bobath Method Level 1, 2 & 3 and is also currently studying the Pinc and Steel cancer course. Susan can help you at any stage of your journey from diagnosis through to long term management.


Anne-Marie Mulholland

Anne-Marie is a HCPC Registered Dietitian and SENr Sport Nutritionist (BSc/MSc). She currently works as a Performance Nutritionist at Ulster Rugby Academy and with Derry Senior Footballers helping players support their health and performance through their diet. Anne-Marie has a range of experience working in team sports including GAA and other Rugby Union teams such as the Sale Sharks Academy.
